Dating Seven II: "Dominatrix" by Scott Taylor Rated PG-13 When Harry arrived in sickbay it was empty except for the Doctor. "Ensign Kim, what happened? You look like you saw a ghost." "You were right earlier this evening about Seven. What are you teaching her anyway? She attacked me with a whip. My god Doc, I thought she was going to kill me. She has her quarters looking like some kind of torture chamber. She had some kind of restraining device bolted to the ceiling, I tell you, I think they were docking clamps. She kept trying to get me in them, and that outfit!" "Take it easy Ensign, your ranting. Where did she hit you?" Harry turned around exposing his backside. "She hit me with the whip, once on my back and twice on my rear end." "Yes, I can see that. Take off your shirt, get on the bed, and lie on your side. I'll take care of it." "Thanks Doc." The sickbay door hissed open and Seven walked in. "What are you doing here? Harry asked angrily. "I followed you here to see if you were alright." she said concerned. "Seven, do you realize what your wearing?" the Doctor asked. "Doctor, my attire is irrelevant. Harry, are you injured?" "Am I injured, yes I'm injured. Seven, what were you doing?" "Attempting to pleasure you." "Pleasure me? What part of, 'Stop, you're hurting me.' do you not understand?" "In sado-masochism, resistance is part of the ritual." "It always comes back to resistance is futile, doesn't it? Where did you ever learn about sado-masochism?" Seven said nothing, she just looked at the Doctor. Harry looked at him in disbelief. "I tried to warn you Ensign, it was part of her studies." he said as he continued to treat Harry's injuries. "Seven, would you get me that derm regenerator over there?" he asked pointing to a cart near his office door. "And put down that whip!" The sickbay door hissed open and Tom rushed in. *Oh no, not Tom!* Harry thought, horrified. "Hey Doc, sorry I'm late. I just...Harry, what happened to you?" "Nothing, I'm fine. Doc, am I done here?" he asked, pleadingly. "No Ensign, I still have to regenerate the whip burns. This one on your back is not serious, but the two welts on your buttocks are going require more treatment." Seven returned with the derm regenerator and was standing to the left, out of Tom's line of sight. "Whip burns? Harry, what have I told you about the holodeck safety protocols? What happened to you?" he asked concerned. "I whipped him in an attempt at seducing him." Seven said rather matter of factly. Tom spun around and stared at her. "I can't believe this is happening." Harry muttered to himself. Tom retrieved his jaw from the floor, and turned to Harry with a wicked grin on his face. "Harry, I didn't think you had it in you." Tom said chuckling. "He did not." Seven piped in. "After three lashes he avoided restraint, ran from my quarters screaming, and ran to sickbay, I followed him." Tom was laughing now. Seven handed the Doctor the derm regenerator. He ran the device over Harry's back wound, healing it almost instantly. "Your back wound is healed Ensign. It may be a bit uncomfortable for a day or two. Now, I need you to remove your pants so I can treat your other injuries." Harry gave him a 'please no' look. "Oh Ensign, no need to be modest. Stand back here behind the bio bed and lean forward." Harry complied. "Was that so hard, now drop em!" Harry reluctantly complied. The sickbay door again hissed open. This time it was Tuvok and a team of three security guards. Tuvok surveyed the room. He saw Harry bent over a bio bed, the Doctor treating an unknown wound on Harry's backside. Tom was doubled over laughing, while Seven stood next to him in a skimpy leather outfit. He arched his eyebrow. "Report Doctor." "Everything is fine Commander...er...um..." the Doctor said nervously. The Doctor knew Harry was embarrassed, and now that Tuvok was involved it had gone far enough. "Why would you think there was a problem?" "There have been several reports of Ensign Kim being chased by a provocatively dressed Seven of Nine, and that the chase led here." Tuvok looked at Seven, then at Harry. "It appears the reports were accurate." "It's ok Commander." Harry said from behind the bio bed. "Seven and I just had a little misunderstanding." *Please Tuvok, for once just let it go* Harry prayed. "Seven of Nine, do you concur?" "For the most part, yes. I whipped Ensign Kim in my quarters in a failed attempt to sexually arouse him, which resulted in his injuries. He escaped restraint and ran to sickbay. As for your reports of my chasing him down the corridor, they are inaccurate, I was merely following him." "I see." Tuvok said, gesturing the security guards to leave. They exited sickbay hardly able to restrain their own laughter. "Seven, will you stop telling everyone that? Harry pleaded. "It is factual, is it not?" "You don't need to keep repeating it." "Commander Tuvok's information was inaccurate. I was merely providing him with the correct information." Tom was literally rolling on the floor, hysterical, not making a sound except for the occasional gasp for air. Looking at Seven, Tuvok said, "In the future I must insist you restrict you sexual activities to your respective quarters." He turned addressing Harry, "Is that clear Ensign?" "Yes sir." Harry responded, clearly embarrassed. The sickbay doors hissed open again and the Captain and Chakotay walked in. "What's going on?" the Captain asked, "The Commander and I were having dinner in the mess hall and we heard that Seven was chasing Harry with a whip." Harry put his head down on the bed, "Please God, tell me this isn't happening." Captain Janeway couldn't believe her eyes. Never in all her years commanding a starship had she ever walked in on a situation quite like this one. She put her hand up to her mouth, attempting to hide the grin on her face. She turned her attention to Tuvok. "It appears Captain, that Ensign Kim and Seven of Nine had a little *misunderstanding*. I believe the situation is under control." The Captain looked at Harry. "Harry, are you alright?" "Yes Captain, Tuvok is right. It was just a misunderstanding." "I see." she said, "Doctor?" "Ensign Kim had some minor abrasions. He's fit and can return to duty. Ensign, I'm done, you can pull your pants back up." Chakotay to Seven, "That outfit isn't exactly Starfleet issue." He said with a devilish grin. "No Commander, it is not. I am not on duty. It was not my intention to leave my quarters while wearing it. When Ensign Kim eluded restraint and fled, I had no choice but to follow him." Seven looked at Harry, "Was that better?" As amusing as this was, poor Harry looked like he was about to pass out from embarrassment. Captain Janeway decided enough was enough. "Mr. Paris, it's hard to believe you don't have a part in this. Contact the Doctor tomorrow to reschedule your training., you're dismissed." Tom managed to control himself and was on his way to the exit in a flash. "Chakotay, Tuvok, I'll take care of this." "Aye Captain" they said in unison, and quickly left sickbay. Sensing she was about to kick him out as well, the Doctor said, "Captain, I'll deactivate while you sort this out. But please remember to reactivate my program before you leave." "Thank you Doctor, I will. Harry, you stay here, I'll be with you in a moment. Seven, join me in the Doctor's office." ********** "Seven, what is all this?" she asked gesturing to her outfit. "A dominatrix outfit." "I know what that is. I mean, what were you thinking?" "I have been reading about human sexuality as part of my Human Interaction curriculum. I have overheard male members of the crew expressing their attraction to dominating women." "I see, so naturally you thought Harry would find this attractive." "My studies of sado-masochism led me to believe a small percentage of couples enjoy this. It is obvious by his reaction, Harry is not in that small percentage group. He did not find this form of seduction erotic." "That would be my guess. Seven, what do you think of it?" "While doing my research, I found the concept intriguing. I however, look ridiculous, the outfit is uncomfortable and both Harry and I found the experience unsatisfying." "If you don't mind my asking, what are your feelings for Harry?" She knew it wasn't her business, but Seven needed guidance and since there wasn't a Counselor on board, she would have to do it. "If your asking if I love him, I don't know. I look forward to our time together, and find I'm the most comfortable when I am with him. Lately, I have felt a sort of emptiness when he returns to his quarters at night. And in his absence, I find myself thinking of him. Is that a description of loving someone?" "Love is different for everyone Seven. But it sounds like it to me. As far as your attempt at seduction tonight, I think you'll agree, this isn't Harry's style. From what you've said I don't think it's your's either. There are alot of things to consider before you both decide to take your relationship to the physical level." "Are you referring to the moral implications Captain?" "Among other things. Seven, my best advice to you is to sit down with Harry and talk things out. Trust me, you'll feel better, and have a better idea what you mean to each other. I have also found my spirit guide to be inspirational in matters of the heart." "Thank you Captain. I have always found your advice sound." "You're welcome Seven. Here, put on this surgical gown. You've got this ship in enough of an uproar tonight." The Captain left Seven in the Doctor's office changing and walked over to where Harry was waiting. "Captain, I..." Harry started. "Harry, you don't have to explain." She put her hand on his shoulder. "I had a little talk with Seven. I suggest you do the same. As embarrassing as this was for you, she meant well." "I know Captain. I'm not angry...I love her and no matter how hard I try, sometimes I feel I'm not getting through to her." "You knew going in there'd be a lot of issues. Having a relationship with Seven is going to be high maintenance. Less Holodeck adventures and more heart to hearts may be prudent." Seven walked out of the Doctor's office dressed in her surgical gown. "Harry," she said, sheepishly for her. "I'm sorry I hurt you." "I know you didn't mean any harm Seven. Can I walk you to your quarters, we can talk." Harry said, offering Seven his arm. ******** After Seven and Harry left Sickbay, the Captain sat at the Doctor's desk with a big grin on her face. She thought of all the strides both of them had made since becoming a couple. Events such as the one tonight were inevitable when Seven was involved. Seven being the catalyst for trouble wasn't going to change overnight, but she was making progress. Thinking of the advice she gave Seven and Harry tonight, she was reminded of her situation with Chakotay. It was their lack of communication that prevented them from a relationship years earlier. She hoped Seven and Harry could work out their problems. They were good for each other. "Computer, activate the EMH program." The Doctor appeared. "Captain" the Doctor said with a nod. He looked around Sickbay. "What happened? What did I miss?" "The storm is over Doctor." "That's it? The storm is over. I'd like to know what happened." "The rumor mill is running full steam on this ship tonight. I have no doubt you'll know soon enough. Good night Doctor." she said with a small wave as she exited. "That's the last time I voluntarily deactivate myself." He swore to himself. The Doctor walked over to his desk and saw the whip Seven had left behind. He picked it up and examined it. He darted his eyes from side to side to assure himself he was alone, then cracked the whip. "SNAP" "Hmmm" he said with a wicked grin. The End
